Hear from data leaders and experts across fields share suggestions on ways for us to advocate for ourselves and interpret data insights to benefit our lives.
About
Lisa Blanchard is a practitioner of data analysis and consensus-building towards solving complex human capital and process problems. Her career has spanned many industries and business functions. She is currently the People Insights Analyst at Articulate.
Previously, Lisa was an Analyst in multiple HR functions at Rapid Response Monitoring Services, Forest City Realty Trust (Now Brookfield Properties), and Alcoa, Inc. Prior to these HR roles, Lisa was an engineer at Alcoa (now Arconic Inc.) and a researcher and lecturer at the University of Alabama in Huntsville. Lisa received her PhD and MSE from The University of Alabama in Huntsville in Industrial and Systems Engineering, focusing on Engineering Management. She also holds a B.S. in Manufacturing Engineering Technology from Midwestern State University.
Lisa is a member of the board of directors of Global Cleveland, an organization committed to attracting, welcoming, and connecting international newcomers to Cleveland and Cuyahoga County. Lisa also serves as a mentor with College Now Greater Cleveland, working to help students enter and succeed in college.
Lisa enjoys telling stories with data, and hassles, wrangles, and sometimes tortures datasets until they tell all their secrets. A fun-loving kid cleverly disguised as a responsible adult, she loves an efficient heuristic and a thrilling audiobook.
