This informative panel brings together Black women data leaders who are also caregivers to others. Through intentional decision-making, they have successfully balanced career aspirations with caregiving responsibilities. The conversation will delve into systemic challenges, including gaps in childcare and family support policies and the need for workplace flexibility . Panelists will share strategies for taking care of themselves while highlighting ways to effectively support their dual roles as caregivers and professionals.

Rah Kalon (They/She) is an international speaker, national trainer, and emotional health coach with a master’s degree in clinical counseling. As a Toastmasters graduate and seasoned facilitator, Rah has spent over a decade writing and leading social-emotional curriculum and founded her own emotional intelligence consulting company in 2020. Her dynamic background includes roles requiring exceptional social skills, powerful presence, and transformative communication.
