Angela will open up her session by sharing a bit about herself and how she got into the field of data science and analytics. The majority of the time will be focused on attendees' identifying their path in the data industry. They will leave the session with the beginning of an action plan and will have the next steps to reach their data role goals. A short set of prepared notes covering her lessons learned, a roadmap to getting the interview/negotiating the job, etc, and walking them through this process by answering their questions, for example, will lead to a value-rich experience.

Some session objectives include:

• Discussing lessons learned while navigating the data and tech industries

• Sharing a job interview and negotiating roadmap

• Sharing tips and strategies for your job interview and negotiating journey

There will be time dedicated to Q&A and open discussion.
