While our Summit is dedicated to Black women in data, anyone and everyone is welcome to participate in the professional development activities.

No, when you purchase a ticket to the summit, it includes your registration and access to the summit. You are responsible for booking your own hotel accommodations, however a discounted rate is available.

We encourage our out-of-town attendees to reserve hotel accommodations at the venue, Le Meridien Atlanta Perimeter. Full hot breakfast starts at 9:15AM on September 13th so we advise you arrive Friday, September 12th. Le Meridien is next to Atlanta's Perimeter Mall (0.2 miles) and down the street from Perimeter Square (0.6 miles). Feel free to enjoy the Dunwoody area while you're in Atlanta! And if you really want to treat yourself, you purchase The Weekender Access ticket to break bread with other attendees at the Welcome Dinner & Reception on Friday night. And, by choosing The WeekenderAccess, your 3-night hotel accommodations are included! Then you would want to book your flight to arrive by Friday, September 12th afternoon, and returning on Monday, September 15th morning 😉

You do not need to print your tickets to gain admission to the Summit

The dress code is business casual, but don’t be afraid to show your personality off, sis! Business Casual: Appropriate business casual dress typically includes slacks or khakis, dress shirt or blouse, open-collar or polo shirt, optional tie or seasonal sport coat, a dress or skirt at knee-length or below, a tailored blazer, knit shirt or sweater, and loafers or dress shoes that cover all or most of the foot.

Bringing your laptop or tablet is advised, and a good attitude! Other suggested items: a water bottle, portable chargers, comfortable shoes, writing utensils, and business cards.

We're focusing on the in-person experience for BWD Summit 2025. It has been too difficult for the BWD team to support the virtual and in-person events simultaneously. The virtual option is not available at this time. We are looking forward to seeing you in real life in September.
